Nigel joined the Financial Services industry in 1984 with Prudential Assurance.

During his 16 years there he fulfilled a number of roles and at the time he left, to join the Alexander Beard Group in January 2001, he was a Sales Manager in their Retail Division.

Nigel's initial responsibility within Alexander Beard Group was to manage their client base in the world of professional football and from there became the Manager of our Leeds Branch in 2003 and the Managing Partner of our UK Financial Planning Division on the 1st December 2008.

​Since then he has also been assisting the Founder & Chairman in the development of our International Employee Benefits Division and on the 1st July 2010 was appointed to the Board of the Company as Client Services Director with responsibility for our three UK Divisions: UK Financial Planning; Sports Media & Entertainment and International Employee Benefits.

​Following the acquisition of Lepretre and Partners in December 2014 and the subsequent, long planned restructuring of the group he took on the responsibility for our new combined UK Financial Planning business: Alexander Beard Wealth LLP.

​He holds the Diploma in Financial Planning (DIP PFS) and an Advance Level Qualification in Pensions Planning.
